Men's Barn Meeting- Speaker: John Croyle

By Leron Bush |  January 8, 2012

Men's Barn Meeting is open to men and boys and is a great time of food, music, fellowship, and a good message.

This Thursday, January 12, Men's Barn Meeting welcomes John Croyle as the speaker.

"John Croyle was a former University of Alabama National Championship defensive end for the legendary Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. At 19 John felt he had been given a gift to work with young people. His dream was to have the best children’s home in America. On the advice of Coach Bryant, John pursued that dream instead of a pro-football career. Over 1,800 children have called Big Oak Ranch their home since 1974. John’s philosophy is: 'A hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house we lived in, the kind of car we drove or how much money we had in the bank, but the world may be different because you and I were important in the life of a child'" (from http://www.facebook.com/BarnMeeting)

If you're a father, bring your son. If you're a grandfather, bring your grandson. If you're neither, bring a friend. Bring someone who would love a FREE steak dinner and enjoy hearing from a former football player.

If you are interested in going and want to carpool or don't know how to get there, meet at the church at 5:30, Thursday, January 12th. Dinner is served @ 7:00pm.
