Vance Havner wrote, “If we are ever going to be or do anything for our Lord, NOW IS THE TIME!”
When I read these words and thought about how to put them into practice in my everyday life, I realized that God has a plan all mapped
out for me to follow. With that in mind, wouldn’t you like to have a formula for successfully living God’s plan for your life that never will fail?
Here it is:
- Include God in every aspect of your life’s journey. Let Him be the One who determines the plans you make and the steps you take.
Beware, as you make your plans for the days, weeks and months ahead, you may become sidetracked by the demands of everyday life.
Don’t let your daily demands sidetrack you from accomplishing God’s big plan.
- Include God in establishing your priorities for doing things. A lot of times we major on the minors and we minor on the majors.
If we will allow God to show us what is really important and what will matter in eternity it will help us from becoming discouraged
and disappointed in life’s journey.
- We must genuinely seek God’s Will for every decision we make. There is no decision too small that we shouldn’t consult His Will and Wisdom.
We have a loving Father that will guide our steps and direct our paths.
- As you plan your life, remember every good plan should start with God.
I want to leave you with the words of Chuck Swindoll. He wrote, “God has a course mapped out for your life, and all the inadequacies in the world will not
change His mind. He will be with you every step of the way. And though it may take time, He has a celebration planned for when you cross over the ‘RED SEAS’ of your life.”
Until Next Time… David
