The Bi-Monthly Publication of the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church

As I sit here at the computer writing these words to you, there are several different people out in the Fellowship Hall and Education Building working on getting things "back in order" after the storm. It is a joy to see the progress that is being made in getting these things done. In the next week or so, the Pre-K Sunday School class will have a new room, the church office will be completely redone, and the Fellowship Hall will have a new drop ceiling and lights. It will look like a whole new place once all these projects are completed.

This brings me to the thought I had when I sat down to write this article. We are in need of some more work being done at the Church. This time it is not on the physical property of the church, but in the Outreach Ministry the church has in place. We are looking at two very vital outreach efforts in our community during the months of February and March. The first one will take place on Thursday, February 17th. We have committed to the Beulah Elementary School and the Beulah Academy of Science that we will provide lunch on this "half-day" of school for them. We want the teachers to know they are appreciated. To make this all work, we need people who are willing to help cook the meal at the Church that morning. We need people who are willing to help with the delivery, set-up, serving and clean up at the schools. We need people who will take this "externally focused" ministry to the Lord in prayer that He might bless it and use it for His Glory. WILL YOU BE INVOLVED WITH HELPING ON THIS DAY?

Then on March 1st, we are going to host our first "Sub-Division Target Dinner" in the Fellowship Hall. We have many new neighbors in our community that I would like to meet. I don't have time to see each one of them individually, so I decided what better way to meet them than to host a dinner for them. We are going to need people will help us with decorating the Fellowship Hall for the meal. We need people who will help cook, serve and clean up. Again, we need people who will commit for the next month and a half to praying for this "outreach effort" specifically. We have the subdivision already picked out; we just need people who will spend time praying for these families that will be invited to the dinner. WILL YOU BE INVOLVED WITH HELPING ON THIS DAY?

You see, I know that we are here at this place and time for a reason. We are here to make a difference for the Kingdom of God. What better way to make a difference for the Kingdom of God than to do something that will draw people to God. Let's make a difference! Let's be found faithful in our service for God!
