Building Projects Overview

Our Vision

When the first members of the Beulah Church organized, and sacrificially gave to build our present facilities, they could not have known the type of ministry that we would be doing in them in 2007. Over the years, we have unbolted all the furniture, refurbished just about every room, and attempted to make this facility as user friendly, inviting, and flexible as possible. We have done well. However, there is still much to do and to improve. That is why we are so excited about our "Forward In Faith ~ Growing In Our Community" master plan for the building project and proposed renovations.

As this generation of Beulah Church membership makes their sacrifice, we anticipate the following:

  • Construct a new, state of the art, children’s ministry facility that can be used for a faith based daycare or mother’s day out, as well as provide new Sunday School classrooms to expand our already crowded children’s ministry. This new ten classroom building will house all the children’s Sunday school classes, have "first class" nursery and toddler rooms for children during the Celebration Services and provide ample room for a "state of the art" children’s church.
  • Give a "face lift" to the exterior of the current Sanctuary building. We are looking at expanding the lobby area by adding to the front of the existing building, where we can create a warm and friendly meeting area for people prior to entering the Sanctuary for the Celebration Services. It will allow us to remodel the present bathrooms and modernize the exterior look of the building.
  • Our "in house project" calls for the conversion of the current nursery and children’s Sunday School rooms into adult classrooms and a teen worship area for BYG Impact youth ministries.
  • The "master plan" will allow us room for future growth. Upon completion of the above project, we can move forward in the next steps in the plan:
    1. Build a new "Family Life Center" that will allow us more space for fellowship meals, a gymnasium for expanded community ministries and house a "state of the art" commercial kitchen and
    2. Build a new worship facility, complete with new administrative offices for the church staff.

We believe that our new building is going to be an attractive, effective place for both seekers and believers to come and meet with Jesus! The renovation projects we plan to do allow us the opportunity to bring our current facilities in line with our ministry vision. We also believe this "master plan" will chart a course for the next 10 to 15 years where we will see growth in our church membership.
